Friendship Assembly of God

Arlie Singleton

Treva (Smith) Singleton

I'd like to introduce you to some friends of mine, Arlie and Treva Singleton. They are not only husband and wife but they're also the Shepherds of Friendship Assembly of God in St. Louis Missouri. Yes there's a motive behind my introduction, ultimately its an invitation to get to know them but also an invitation to become a part of the Friendship A/G Church Family.

Rev. Arlie and Sis. Treva Singleton have been married for approximately 25 years. Both are Members of the Class of 1990 Free Bible Gospel Institute. Right now Sis. Singleton is being treated for cancer with chemotherapy.  It has been said by those that know her, even when she's sick she can still smile and laugh. Just to give you a taste of what they're like, I'll tell you a funny little story. I've always been at odds with my Middle Name, which is Kay, so I was talking with them about my personal dislike for it. Pastor Arlie, from that moment on, referred to me as "Okay"! Now every time I hear someone say it, I can't help but laugh.

Bro. & Sis. Singleton on one of their first (real)dates.

One of the reasons I want you to know them is, someone out there has been seeking the Lord to be placed into a Church where you can utilize your spiritual gift(s) and/or talents to both build and encourage the Kingdom. Luke 10:2 tells us "The harvest truly is great, but the labourers are few:" If you're searching for a place to, sink your teeth into, so to speak, Bro. & Sis. Singleton would be the couple to work with. One of the Events that presents opportunity is their twice monthly "In Reach" This is a free and open Luncheon for everyone. The public is invited to partake of fellowship and food. This is open to anyone and everyone at no cost! Whether Homeless or a Multimillionaire. They're sharing their food and their faith. Maybe you'd like to get involved with this Ministry but being there physically isn't possible. Sending a Donation to them at the address below would definitely be most beneficial!

So, there you have it, just a snippet I know, but now that you know about them I'm sure you'll want to make them your friends as well! I've included their contact(s) below so you can get in touch with them.

Why is this a part of Love To Tell The Story? Because, they're my Friends.
